From which it follows, I suppose, that parachutists must be half-trained chutists, who shout "Geronimo!" as they jump from the aircraft, but then forget to pull the ripcord (incidentally, do people called Geronimo shout "Me!" when they jump?), and are treated by half-trained doctors (paramedics), once they've hit the ground.
