Re-interpretation of historic drilling in conjunction with the current drilling has inferred the
subbasin as highly prospective for laterally extensive flat lying sandstone hosted Zn-Pb deposits.
The visualization of "correlation charts" is an original proposal of the authors, which along with the correlation tables shows key parameters as well as the functions of the land use and cover conditions in the
subbasin and in the vicinity of the point and assists to understand the parameter dynamics in the monitored section.
The Corrego da Olaria
subbasin was located between latitudes 21[degrees]05'47" S and 21[degrees]19'35"S and longitudes 49[degrees]03'02"W and 48[degrees]42'52"W at the Polo Regional Centro Norte of the Agencia Paulista de Tecnologia dos Agronegocios (APTA), Pindorama County, Sao Paulo State, Brazil (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatistica, 1971)--(Figure 1).
The Nature Conservancy is providing scientific capacity to inform where SLRR can best be positioned in the Tule
subbasin, using analyses to evaluate optimal selection of lands for SLRR and to quantify potential water quality and greenhouse gas benefits.
Wilcoxon signed ranked tests were employed in order to determine any significant changes over time (2000-2010) in water quality within each individual
subbasin.
The same test was used to evaluate the association between stomach fullness and the
subbasin in which crabs were captured, crab sex, and crab size; for purposes of the Chi-square analysis, crab sizes were categorized as "medium" (4.0-5.9 cm) and "large" (>6.0 cm).
The working area (Figure 1) is located within an Antarctic site of sedimentary accumulation, James Ross Basin [2], which is a "
subbasin" comprising the northern part of a larger basin named Larsen Basin [3] that was developed behind a volcanic arc (back-arc basin) during most of the Mesozoic and Cenozoic periods.
