The sharp and strong absorption in the range of 1300~1000 [cm.sup.-1] displayed the stretching vibration of pyranoid ring, so that JP1 were pyranose.

Authentic standards of linalool, (E)-linalool oxide A (furanoid), (Z)-linalool oxide B (furanoid), (E)-linalool oxide C (pyranoid), geraniol, citral, [beta]-myrcene, D-limonene, [beta]-ocimene, nerol, nerolidol, [beta]-ionone, geranyl acetone, naphthalene, (Z)-3-hexen-1-ol, eugenol, nonanal, benzyl alcohol, benzene acetaldehyde, methyl salicylate, (Z)-3-hexenol acetate, 3-octen-1-ol, indole, and ethyl decanoate were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Shanghai, China).
A peak was observed in 2917cm-1 due to the asymmetric stretching vibration of C-H in pyranoid ring, while the stretching of 1057-1033 cm-1 represent the C-O-C bond of the cyclic alcohol of cellulose [59].
Other products of the metabolization of linalool (143), amounting to less than 10% of those identified, were the corresponding (Z)-isomer (145), 2-vinyl-2-methyltetrahydrofuran-5-one (146), the four (E) and (Z) linalool oxides in their furanoid (147, 148) and pyranoid (149, 150) forms, the (E) and (Z) acetates of pyranoid linalool oxides (151,152), as well as 3,9-epoxy-p-menth-1-ene (153) (Scheme 41).
Monosaccharides exist mainly as pyranoid and furanoid forms, the former being more stable [21].

The organic fraction of a biooil produced from mixed biomass of wheat and wood sawdust was isolated by supercritical C[O.sub.2] (SC-C[O.sub.2]), and the first fraction of SC-C[O.sub.2] extraction collected at 25 MPa was enriched with furanoids (9.9%), pyranoids (9.0%), and benzenoids (44.8%) [102].
