- The increase in the value of a formerly subdivided piece of land resulting from its amalgamation under a single ownership; the value of such an increase (in full "plottage increment").

- The plotting of a play, film, etc. Only in "a mess of plottage": a convoluted or poorly constructed dramatic plot; a play with such a plot.
