"They are sending these letters out from Spain to between 60 and 70 countries," says Inspector Antonio Pintano of the Spanish National Police fraud squad.
"Most of the victims send their money through Western Union or Moneygram," says Pintano. "It is merely addressed to, let's say, 'Senor So-and-So, Spain'.
