BEIRUT: Former politician Gabriel Murr said Tuesday that he filed a complaint accusing his son, MTV CEO Michel Gabriel Murr, of attempting to kill him.
Mr Murr said: "Everyone today is very aware of the fact we need to protect the environment and move away from products made of plastic.
Friday reported that Murr was lying unconscious and not breathing in the alley between Olive and Willamette streets near the Parkade at East Seventh Avenue, and it appeared she had been bleeding.
We started the investigation and summoned the boy and his parents," Brigadier Al Murr said.
Al Murr said in 2011, the 27-year-old entered the country on a tourist visa, using the passport of an East European country.
"We referred him to Criminal Investigation Department to check if he is wanted for any crimes before we send him to court," said Al Murr.
Murr will be responsible for portfolio and relationship management, serving as a primary contact for borrowers, and work closely with the loan servicing and closing teams to ensure all servicing requirements are properly understood and accurately documented.
Al Murr who is currently visiting Belgium noted that Europe has always "been a place of inspiration for the Arab world." On her part, Angelika Niebler, chairwoman of the European Parliament (EP) Delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula, welcomed the UAE delegation and wished a speedy recovery to the UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who was taken ill recently.
Brigadier Al Murr also clarified that the investigation would look into whether the woman was complicit in the crime.
"Under instructions by the office of the state attorney, writers of suspicious news reports will be summoned to the army's intelligence agency to be asked about those behind them who urged them to publish suspicious news, whether these backers are individuals or agencies," AL AKHBAR on August 19 recalled Murr as saying.
Murr has criticised the announcement, saying that any party that wished to help the military had to do so without conditions.
