And amid this activity, Forest City is building on its initial victory, with two major new projects, namely a 12-theater cineplex on Court Street, and Atlantic Center Plaza, a 450,000 square-foot step into Brooklyn's future as a retail mecca which also pays architectural tribute to the borough's past by modeling itself on Ebbets Field, former home of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
