- A type of art glass, originally and chiefly manufactured in the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, having a characteristic two-tone colour, shading from deep red at the top of the piece of glassware to pale amber at the bottom. Also (and in earliest use) more fully "amberina glass".
